Respected seniors, my colleagues and dear younger fellow Alums

It is a matter of great pride that our Alma Mater has entered its 175th year of existence and the year long celebrations are proposed all over the world organised by local chapters spread over the world wide spectrum of Alums.

It has been decided by the main body that the chapters may organise the event one by one and I am pleased to announce that the Lucknow Chapter has been chosen to organise the event first of all the chapters.

The credit goes to our respected seniors who have crafted the harmonious ways and devolved the sense of brotherhood amongst we all guiding us to move in disciplined manner and maintaining all the ethics of profession and relations.

I, being the president of the chapter, feel proud in carrying forward this legacy and request you all to guide and support me in organising the most successful event not only in the history of lucknow Chapter but in the history of IITRAA World wide.

It is also being informed that for the event a theme pavilion is being developed and installed at the venue such that every person going to the auditorium shall necessarily pass through it.

The pavilion shall have following parts:
1. Displaying and narrating the history and glorious past of our Institute.
2. Hall of Fame- showing the glorious achievements/ distinguished projects of our alumni.
3. Documentary on the history of institute.
4. Any other relevant material worth displaying.

Further an open competition has been floated amongst the young and budding Engineering students on the innovative use of technology in our social life with the support of AKTU, Lucknow.

Two technical sessions shall be organised on the prevailing issues in Engineering and Technology. As usual we are preparing a cultural program totally in-house with the help of alumni and families. I seek the support of you all as the program and it’s success belongs to all of us. We all together shall make it exemplary and seek your active involvement in Whatever form convenient to you all. The program has been scheduled for 23rd and 24th April, 2022. The detailed itinerary shall be shared with you all very soon. You all are requested to spare time and Lucknow chapter shall be pleased to host you all.
